What I love about New West is that it is more affordable than both Vancouver and Burnaby, yet an easy skytrain ride away from both. New West is perfect for first time home buyers and also families. It is where I bought my first condo!

If you are strategic enough to snag a condo within walking distance to the skytrain and some shops, you really don’t need a car here.

New West is home to Queen’s Park, a huge park with a beautiful rose garden, a petting zoo, waterpark, playground, baseball diamonds, tennis courts and a hockey rink. You will find beautiful old heritage houses surrounding the park.

Wonderful Market

You will also find the New West Quay with a fabulous promenade, a wonderful market (check out City Avenue Market for all your fresh produce!) along with stores, cafes, restaurants and a circus school.

So Much More

Uptown New West has plenty of amenities, including a library, Walmart, Safeway, Rocky Mountain Chocolatier, Shoppers Drug Mart and so much more. 

You can also get on the highway and head East out of town for those long weekends away in a snap!
